Designer/Salesperson Job Description

Designer Role: This individual must have a skill combination of both sales talent and creative design ability. The designer role is both responsible for guiding our clients through their projects from start to finish, as well as securing new accounts.

Designer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain personal monthly sales goals and sales profit.
• Create designs based on client needs using the product lines we offer.
• Maintain and build relationships with Builders and Remodeling clients.
• Help cover showroom hours by communicating schedules and outside appointments with the other showroom designers.
• Commute between the showroom and project locations to perform measure and deal with any onsite issues that arrive.
• Help both individual clients as well as any walk-in clients in the showroom to help promote the best experience possible with any project.
• Any other duties required to create a fun, functional showroom for our cliental.

Designer Qualifications/Attributes:

 Essentials

• Self-directed, highly motivated, and reliable
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to critically think and solve problems in the most efficient fashion
• Basic Knowledge of all Microsoft Word and Excel as well as the ability to learn new computer programs

Desirable

• Experience using 2020 Design Program
• 3 years previous sales experience
