Become part of the Cabinet Creations team of skilled craftsmen. We’re growing and need additional Carpenters today! 

Cabinet Creations does kitchen and bath remodeling with a wide range of job sizes. Much of our business comes from our cabinet and countertop divisions. Our projects span eastern and central Iowa.

Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install cabinets, shelving and final installations of replacement doors and drawers, missing items, trims, and repairs.
• Responsible for working with wood to build and repair structures and other items .
• Select and source appropriate materials depending on project needs
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, ad closures
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, fabricators, templaters, and other construction workers.
• Other tasks include general remodeling:such as cleaning up and moving fixtures in place..

Carpenter Qualifications/Skills:

A Cabinet Creations Carpenter candidate will need a combination of qualifications and practical experience including:

• Dependability.
• Attention to detail.
• Follow through each assignment to completion in a timely manner.
• Creativity and design skills.
• Computer skills, dexterity, and math skills.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or more.
• Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, and saws.

An associate degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry is preferred but not necessary. Previous cabinet making skills a plus.

Benefits

Starting wage is $20/hr. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid PTO and holidays. A Simple IRA plan is available.
